Community Outreach

Hearing Partners of South Florida maintains a commitment to providing accessibility to hearing health care to a cross section of our community.

We currently accept donations of hearing aids to the Sertoma Speech & Hearing Foundation of Florida a not for profit organization that seeks to help children get access to hearing aids.

Dr. Nimet Adam has been involved in humanitarian work in Argentina through the Oticon Corporation. She also participates in on-going community lectures and health fairs to educate the public about hearing loss, prevention of hearing loss and other related topics.

She is the former Chairperson for the Health Board of Florida a non-profit institution in the state of Florida. In this capacity, Dr. Adam was involved in extensive lecturing, telemedicine, mentoring and creating the 1st Florida Wellness Center Clinic in a church-based setting.

Appointed by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology (CAA) for a 4 year term as a site evaluator for Audiology programs in University settings. This position is established by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
