Nimet A. Adam, AuD, CCC-A
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Nimet A. Adam is a Board Certified Clinical Audiologist and President of Hearing Partners of South Florida, Inc. Dr. Adam has over 20 years of experience in the industry. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida and trained at Shands Medical Center. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and a fellow of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA). She has worked as an Industrial Audiologist and in clinical and administrative positions at a South Florida Rehabilitation Hospital. She has lectured extensively and is a consultant for various organizations and manufacturers. Dr. Adam is on the Board of Directors for the Entheos Cooperative, an Audiology based co-op that provides hearing healthcare services worldwide.
Her practice specializes in diagnostics and management of hearing loss, tinnitus and balance. Dr. Adam is dedicated to the health and wellness of the community. She was an adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) and is a preceptor for doctoral students from various universities. Dr. Adam is on the Council for Accreditation of Audiology Programs in the United States and participates in local and international humanitarian projects. She has lived in Florida since 1980 and resides with her husband and daughter. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and reading.
Meredith Resnick, M.A., CCC-A
Meredith is a Clinical Audiologist licensed in the State of Florida. She completed her Bachelors degree from The University of Wisconsin – Madison and received her Masters degree from Northwestern University. She has earned her certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
Meredith has over 20years experience. She worked in a hospital setting, an Ear, Nose and Throat practice and in a private practice setting. She specializes in diagnostic, rehabilitative Audiology and hearing devices. She attends educational seminars to maintain her expertise in Audiology and keeps current with the latest advancements in hearing aid technology. Meredith is dedicated to helping her patients achieve optimal hearing from amplification treating each patient with compassion.
Meredith resides with her husband, two teenagers and two dogs. She enjoys walking, knitting, and spending time with family and friends.
Arthur Zinaman, Au.D, CCC-A
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Zinaman holds graduate degrees from A.T. Still University, Ithaca College and the State University of New York at Cortland. He is currently licensed as an audiologist in both Florida and New York states. He is experienced in the latest hearing aid technology, assistive listening devices and is proficient in advanced testing techniques, inter-operative monitoring, aural rehabilitation, cochlear implant mapping, hearing science and medical audiology.
Dr. Zinaman also holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) from the American Speech & Language Hearing Association (ASHA). He remains dedicated to providing the best in hearing healthcare to all his patients.
Dr. Zinaman enjoys gardening, competition target shooting, antique restoration; especially wall and mantel clocks, and is a 1960/70’s muscle car enthusiast!
Dr. Matthew Seldine, Au.D, F-AAA
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Matthew Seldine, Au.D. graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Florida in Gainesville and earned his Doctorate in Audiology from the University of South Florida. He has clinical and counseling experience. He has worked in an Ear, Nose and Throat practice, and a Hearing and Balance clinic. He specializes in audiometric and vestibular diagnostics, hearing instrument technology, and hearing protection and conservation. Dr. Seldine will be seeing patients in our Delray Beach office. Matthew is a native of Southeast Florida. He was a volunteer for the Special Olympics, is an avid drummer and loves basketball, bowling, and travel.
Certified Audiology Assistant
Tricia Alvaro graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Human Ecology at Montclair State University in NJ. She has worked in the audiology field for 20 years, assisting in audiological evaluations and vestibular testing. She started out her career in NJ and has found herself in Florida to be closer to family for the past 4 years. She is certified twice; American Academy of Otolaryngology, Certificate Program for Otolaryngology Personnel (CPOP) and in the State of Florida Division of Medical Quality Assurance, Audiology Assistant License.
Shayne Taplin, L.H.A.S
Licensed Hearing Aid Specialist
Shayne is a licensed Audiology Assistant in the State of Florida. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelors of Business Administration. In addition to being an Audiology Assistant, she is currently working towards her certification as a Hearing Instrument Specialist. Shayne has been with Hearing Partners for five years and enjoys helping patients with their hearing technology. Her expertise includes patient instruction on hearing devices, pairing devices for Bluetooth compatibility, trouble shooting hearing aid issues, and monitoring patient progress. Her other interests include cooking and fitness.
Front Office – Delray Beach
Bethany Olivares has been a part of the Hearing Partners of South Florida team for 2 years. Bethany is the receptionist at our Delray office and handles the patient intake and appreciation projects. She loves to sing and is a big movie buff.
Front Office – Boynton Beach
Evie Caban has been a part of the Hearing Partners of South Florida team for a year. Evie runs the Boynton Beach office and takes care of Lyric and all warranty renewals. She has 3 teenagers and keeps Dr. Zinaman in check!
Wendy has been a part of the Hearing Partners of South Florida team for 2 ½ years. Wendy handles billing and check out. She loves animals and is originally from New York.
Aggie Is the Office Manager of Hearing Partners of South Florida.
Aggie is a Boynton Beach resident. She is an animal advocate as well as community volunteer. Her hobbies include gourmet cooking, interior design, foreign language, white water rafting, kayaking as well as a multitude of outdoor sports. Aggie also, served our country in the military with a combat support hospital.
Alex is the Marketing Director for Hearing Partners of South Florida. She handles physician marketing, social media, and community outreach. She loves the beach and spending time with family and friends.
Phoebe is a fourth year audiology resident at Hearing Partners. She graduated from The Ohio State University in December of 2012 with her Bachelors in Speech and Hearing. Phoebe also spent a summer abroad in Spain and received a Spanish minor. She began her 4th year externship at Hearing Partners in June 2016 and plans to receive her Doctorate of Audiology in May 2017. Her interests include hearing instruments, tinnitus and dizziness. She plans to soon participate in an international humanitarian project to Guatemala. Her other interests include traveling, music and spending time in the outdoors. Go Buckeyes!
